The government has announced a discount in the form of new rebates for battery electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) will start on July 1, 2021. The Clean Car discount will make it more affordable for kiwis to own their own Electric Vehicle, the Clean Car Discount will be providing rebates for plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles for cars registered between 1st July and 31st December 2021
